		<description>This is good advice. But I would also suggest that the bands when they are radio ready go out to find the opportunities on the web for various promotions, record deals and licensing opportunities. This is what their manager should focus on.</description>

		<description>Good to see someone suggesting bands spend some time putting effort into planning and defining what they&#039;re about - before they charge into band marketing. 

Personally I know that as far as band management is concerned most bands can get to a good level of paid gigs without any manager involved. Of course if band management is an objective (i.e. if music is a full-time carrer rather than a paid hobby) then getting paid gigs and attracting a good crowd can only help with interesting potential band management.</description>
