What is the iPhone Guitar

?

It was not exactly what I expected, and I was really curious… but before anything else… let me say I won’t tell you what it is… you just got to see it for yourself. Check the iPhone guitar video below.

So as you know by now, the iPhone guitar is actually a virtual guitar, it imitates the sound of a real guitar, and because of the iPhone’s touch screen, you can actually fret simple chords or individual notes and with your other hand, pluck or strum the strings.

As a guitar player, to be honest, it would actually be difficult to play an entire song on it, because it would be very difficult to fret, even with simple chords. What makes it difficult to fret is the ratio of the guitar neck width (which in this case is the width of the iPhone) against the width of the individual frets.

The graphics presents you with a view of a guitar neck, frets and strings… but you can only see six frets.

the soloist dvd rip

So ok, since we know this thing cannot actually be played.. what use do we have for it?

Well, for those who are interesting in learning guitar, this can be a great way for you to familiarize yourself with chords, what would be interesting is if the developer could come up with an application that would look like guitar tab, which teaches a person how a chord looks, and on what fret every individual finger were to fall.

Other than that, I’d say iPhone guitar is just another cool application to have on your iPhone to impress women or something.

So as far as it being a playable instrument to make music from? The iPhone guitar is crap; as an interesting application, really cool… but as an aid on learning how to play guitar, especially for beginners.. awesome!

Electronics & computer enthusiasts, the tech savvy and everybody in to gadgets and gizmos are abuzz about the Apple Macbook Air, the new notebook that analysts say will be a hit among both Mac and Windows users.

The Apple Air

‘s size makes it the new standard in portable, with an extremely thin profile and is shaped like a teardrop when closed, thicker at the top behind the screen and tapering at the bottom behind the keyboard.

The MacBook Air is a laptop that has something for everyone, with features that include gesture recognition, a dual-boot function, a full-fledged screen and keyboard.

Plus, the Apple MacBook Air might just be slimmest PC notebook today, at only 0.16- to 0.76-inches thick across its tapered design. The Apple MacBook Air is a full-sized notebook PC with a 13.3-inch screen and a full keyboard; Intel Core 2 Duo processor running at 1.6 GHz standard; an 80 GB 1.8-inch hard drive; and an optional 64 GB solid-state hard drive.

Retailing at an estimated $1,799, this is indeed expensive… and from what we know about new electronic and tech products, especially from the kind of history Apple has had with its array of gadgets, it would be best to wait for the next version or higher model, as someone said, “Laptops are like cars, never buy the first model year.” In fact, not only just laptops. There will always be glitches in the first models, and the upgrade or new models almost always get better.

Take a tour of the Apple Air below.
