i love the comic strip. it's so true.....we are all very much influenced by others' opinions, often without even realizing it. reminds me of last month when i was looking for a hotel in uruguay that i'd heard good things about, and found their website which looked great. i was all set to book a room when i checked another site and saw about 5 really awful reviews (out of about 20, otherwise generally good, some even sparking). that was enough to convince me not to book that hotel! i went for another one, which had a better ratio of bad to good reviews (like 2 bad ones, 15 good ones). point is, rumors do matter! nice post.
