If you need to increase the number of visitors to your website and increase sales or conversions, you can send me an email and I will talk to you about the many different strategies to achieve your online marketing goals.

There are many different strategies to increase traffic and sales, but it would solely depend on your specific goals. There is no such thing as a one size fits all solution, each strategy is customized to every individual need, or objective.

There are several different ways to increase traffic to your website but I focus on the top 4 methods which have proven to be very effective.

1. Search Engine Marketing (SEM)

Search Engine Marketing is an internet marketing strategy that promotes your website – products and services, by increasing the visibility of your website on search engines’ results pages. This is accomplished through paid listings on Google AdWords (Google), Yahoo! Sponsored Search (Yahoo) and MSN Ad Center (MSN); and through organic or natural listings achieved through Search Engine Optimization (SEO), where you get ranked on the results pages for free.

Take a look at some of my clients’ rankings.

Client 1 – www.filmschool.ph

Goal Achieved – Ranked number 2 on Google India for keyword, film school. They also occupy position 1 on Google AdWords listing. Click image to view enlarged picture.

Client 2 – www.coggno.com

Goal Achieved – Ranked number 2 on Google USA for keyword, learning management system and number 3 for learning management systems.

Client 3 – www.PremiumTicketHub.com

Work ongoing, but in just two months, got ranked on first page of Google for one of the primary target keywords, Manchester United Football Tickets, ranking 3 for the latter.

The site is also ranking 6 for Manchester United Tickets.

2. Banner Advertising

Banner Advertising is one of the oldest forms of online advertising, wherein a banner baring your advertising creative or copy is displayed on another website for the purpose of getting visitors on that site to your site where your offer is found. While some may argue that the effectiveness of banner advertising has waned in recent years, the truth is, it simply got more specialized that now it is not a matter of just slapping a banner on any website, but a process of identifying the right website with the right target audience, presented with the right advertising message that compels them to click, the right offer on the landing page where they find themselves after clicking, and a good degree of tracking and testing every step of the process.

3. Social Media Marketing

Social Media Marketing is an internet marketing strategy that promotes a website product or service by engaging online communities and letting them market your product or service for you in a viral nature. Social Media Marketing came about with the popularity of Web 2.0 and user generated content (UGC) sites, where content on websites is no longer created by the website owners but by the visitors who frequent the website, and interact amongst themselves in that virtual community. The ability to create and interact, paves the way for the opportunity to talk about and refer products, services or websites that are of interest or are relevant to them.

4. Permission Marketing

Permission marketing is the absolute opposite of most traditional marketing which is intrusive and aptly referred to as interruption marketing, often times found to be annoying to the recipients of the unsolicited message. Permission marketing is more effective since the people who receive your marketing messages are people who consent to it, by requesting for more information about your product or service; they are also more likely to convert into a customer and allows you the product owner or service provider to build and develop a relationship with your customer, a relationship that often translates to a trust that yields long term sales and customer loyalty. The process often starts when you are able to get a lead’s contact information that they voluntarily give you, and the follow up and relationship building proceeds through mediums such as email, traditional mail, phone calls or even visits by appointment.
