Nintendo Wii Controller Safety Tips
Nintendo Wii is without a doubt, one of the years hottest game platforms that came out this year. But with Nintendo Wii’s ever increasing popularity is an emerging Nintendo Wii side, especially for the many who get hooked playing Nintendo Wii. Some people call the Nintendo Wii the most dangerous computer games console of all time, and the danger arises from the way you use the Nintendo Wii Controller.
In order to give the player a more natural way of effecting on-screen action, Nintendo provides the player with Nintendo Wii Controller that you can swing around as you play. If you were playing a game of tennis, you would swing the Nintendo Wii Controller as if it were a real tennis racket in a real game of tennis. This allows greater interactivity and most players love this feature.
This feature of the Nintendo Wii Controller is certainly unique to the Nintendo Wii and makes it stand out from the other computer gaming consoles. It has however caused problems, and physical injury to some users and innocent bystanders, who fail to exercise the proper level of caution while using the Nintendo Wii Controller.
Injuries caused by the use of the Nintendo Wii are categorized as:
1) Injuries to players, as they strain muscles.. that they aren’t used to using regularly
2) Injuries to innocent bystanders who’ve been struck by flailing players and flying Nintendo Wii Controllers

Many players would laugh at the idea, but it is only fitting for you to warm up the muscles that you would be flexing and straining while playing. It may sound silly to be warming up physically for a computer game but, a few stretching exercises prior to game time will ensure that your body is warmed up and will help prevent muscle strain, and stress on ligaments and tendons.
To avoid getting hurt by an otherwise oblivious Nintendo Wii player, better to stay as far as you can. If you are the player and there are other people in the room then exercise reasonable caution. If you can play in a room which is not cramped, and has plenty of space, better.
One of the common Nintendo Wii injuries are due to the player’s failure to securely strap the Nintendo Wii Controller; there is a strap that goes around your wrist. Make sure this is secure to avoid having a Nintendo Wii Controller flying across the room, since game action can cause an unsecured Nintendo Wii Controller to slip out of grasp and hit someone or something.
Always check the Nintendo Wii Controller wrist strap at regular intervals and get a replacement if the original strap shows signs of wear and tear.
Follow the tips above, be responsible and exercise due caution when playing , and you will make your Nintendo Wii playing experience both enjoyable and safe.
