There is this old question that goes, who you would rather be with… the one you love or the one who loves you?
The choices are presented before you and the question is simple, yet the answers never are.
Some opt to be with the one who wants them more, believing that in time they would be able to love that who accepted them.
Others burn in desire to be with the one they love, despite obvious disparity in affection or the prospect of love unrequited.
Maybe then to answer this, we must digress from feelings and look at man’s innate nature, the need for belonging and acceptance whether from a group of individuals or from one specific person. Man desires to be desired, needs to be needed, wants to be wanted. The feeling of relevancy and importance in another person’s life, may be the needed perspective to answer the question.
However you choose, there are still no guarantees. In the end, it will not be about who you choose but the reasons for the choice and the attitude you take when things do not go as planned.
Despite the uncertainty of the choice, true happiness is found when you knowingly plunge into it something that you know could potentially make you unhappy, regardless if you choose the one you love or the one who loves you.

i think it’s a boy-girl perspective. The former statement is for the boys and the latter is for girls.
There is a saying that goes “Be sure to get what you like, or you’ll be forced to like what you get”. I think this is also true to relationships.
